NE-YA, quarto singolo estratto da CRASH, il nuovo album di John Bringwolves, nasce da una registrazione vocale catturata in un momento di smarrimento e stanchezza, quando non restava che l'ultima energia disponibile. Da quel frammento è germogliato un brano costruito su una cantilena sussurrata, dove le due sillabe che danno il titolo alla canzone si ripetono come un mantra di conforto.
Quello che accade, tra vissuto, alterazioni, ricordi alterati, bugie ed esagerazioni, finisce sempre nelle canzoni: non per renderlo più bello, ma perché è semplicemente lì, in qualunque forma si presenti. La musica, forse, rende nebulosi gli eventi tangibili della vita, restituendone però i dettagli più nascosti; oppure, al contrario, rende intangibili episodi ancora troppo concreti da affrontare a viso aperto. O entrambe le cose insieme, a seconda del momento. È proprio questo mistero, ad affascinare più di ogni altra cosa John Bringwolves.

NE-YA, the fourth single from CRASH, the new album by John Bringwolves, was born from a vocal recording captured in a moment of disorientation and exhaustion, when only the last available energy remained. From that fragment grew a track built on a whispered chant, in which the two syllables that give the song its title repeat like a mantra of comfort.
Whatever happens, whether lived experience, distortions, altered memories, lies, or exaggerations, always ends up in the songs: not to make it more beautiful, but simply because it's there, in whatever form it takes. Music, perhaps, blurs the tangible events of life while restoring their hidden details; or, conversely, it makes intangible those episodes still too concrete to face head-on. Or both at once, depending on the moment. It is precisely this mystery that fascinates John Bringwolves more than anything else.

He explores the tension between analog and digital textures to craft groove-heavy performances rooted in improvisation, organic rhythms, and dreamlike, acid-forward moments.
